    Mr Gentzsch is currently looking after 4 properties in Danang Vietnam, whereby the Furama Resort & Spa and the Aryana Convention Center are well known leading properties in their respective fields. He brings 30 years’ experience in the hotel industry and related businesses in positions including Cluster General Manager and General Manager with responsibilities for up to 3000 employees.

    After studying mathematics, he became an award-winning chef before graduating two times with honors in a Swiss Hotel Management School and in an international Airline Catering General Manager Training Program. He worked in various independent leading hotels of the world and international chains such as the Hilton and Regent in Europe, Middle America, the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia. His reputation is based on winning various awards while maintaining an excellent work relationship with locally owned companies such as Jebel Ali International Dubai, KLCC Property Holdings Malaysia (Petronas/Impiana), Berjaya Malaysia and Vingroup Vietnam (Vinpearl) among others. This results in regular invitations to participate in tourism related projects involving governments, authorities and airlines.

    Aside from this, he holds diplomas as a teacher for the hospitality and as a leadership trainer and is respected for grooming local talents into managerial positions while being very hands on. Among other training achievements, he was strongly involved in grooming more than 20 young Vietnamese talents into General Managers while many others reached the level of an HOD.

    Mr Gentzsch is a proud father of two Mexican girls and believes into a healthy private life as a fundament for a successful professional performance.

    David Jackson is the Chief Executive Officer of Colliers (Vietnam), managing the operational aspects of the company along with setting the strategic vision and goals. He has a broad and diverse level of expertise in managing business, capital markets, transactional management, and valuations and advisory. With over eighteen years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate and Management Services, he advises a wide range of clients in an international and local capacity. 
    Since arriving in Vietnam in 2008, David worked with a number of major occupier accounts and been a primary advisor to large scale organizations such as REE Corporation and Kumho Asiana as well as undertaken a variety of roles within Colliers. An active member of the Ho Chi Minh City business community, particularly in the Business Executive Network, he is also a supervisor and councilor to candidates of RICS and a member of the Board of Directors of Victory Capital.

    David is a keen advocate for technology and sustainable building practices, as well as diversity and inclusion in the workplace. He is also a pioneer in charity donations to Hope School, a school for disabled children.

    Wink Hotels’ Michael Piro comes from a humble background. Born and raised in Canada as one of six children, he was already working by the age of 13. In the years since, through hard work and hustle, Michael Piro has worked his way up from early success in real estate sales to become the Chief Operating Officer at Indochina Capital Corporation and founder and CEO of Vietnam’s first international-standard homegrown hotel brand, Wink Hotels.

    Arriving in Vietnam at the age of 21 with a small amount of savings and a boatload of ambition, 36 year-old Piro has become a thought-leader in the real estate and hospitality industries. Today, he brings nearly 15 years of property sales, marketing and development experience to his role as Indochina Capital’s Chief Operating Officer and CEO of soon-to-launch Wink Hotels.

    Michael has directly overseen the sale and leasing of over US$1bn million worth of high-end Vietnamese properties, while also being actively involved in the planning and development of nearly US$1.75 billion worth of high-end real estate development in Vietnam for Indochina Capital. He was instrumental in the structuring and launch of Vietnam’s most luxurious properties, including The Four Seasons Nam Hai in Hoi An, Six Senses Con Dao and the Hyatt Regency Danang. As a leader and pioneer in the branded residences/condotel sector, Michael went on to play a key role in the development consultancy of condotel projects such as Intercontinental Phu Quoc, Fusion Suites Danang and several other notable mixed-use hospitality developments.

    Along with the other co-creators of Wink, Michael was there at the very inception of the brand in 2015, helping birth the idea of a hotel chain for the affordable sector imbued with the same level of creativity and attention to detail that he achieved in the luxury segment.

    Michael is a chartered surveyor who holds a degree in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and a diploma of Technology with a major in Commercial Real Estate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

    Born and educated in South Africa, but for the last 30 years I have lived and worked in many countries around the world first in Europe then Tahiti, Hawaii, Bahrain, Dubai, Mauritius, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and now Vietnam. My Wellness career started off as an International Fitness Presenter, that brought me to the Spa industry and ultimately connected me to Hospitality. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the top international Spa, Wellness and Hospitality brands that has enriched my ‘Savoir’ within the Wellness, Fitness, Spa & Hospitality world. 
    Currently I am the General Manger of Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion & Wellness Officer for Fusion Group based in Hue Central Vietnam, where every day I can utilize and share all my experience in Wellness Hospitality. I too am the World Wellness Weekend Ambassador for Vietnam a Board member of HTT (Hospitality Think Tank) a member of GWI (Wellness Tourism Initiative) a board member of WDDD (World Digital Detox Day) and a Board Director of SWAA (Spa & Wellness Association of Africa) Trying very hard to promote Wellness and Happiness around Vietnam and the World. Another passion of mine is Environmental Wellness and currently I am doing all I can to bring this into the Hospitality world and promote sustainable awareness.

Besides, Thao has expertise in sales & marketing strategy, market segmentation & targeting, she is normally responsible for the whole hotel's income to GM/ Hotel Owner. Thao is also successful in training and leading the sales team to work with passion, and motivation and aiming toward a clear vision.
    Meanwhile, Thao is also a Visiting lecturer BA Program in the International Hospitality and Tourism Management Department - at VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education, The University of Danang. She is always willing to learn more and share more to develop and encourage younger to develop in Hospitality

    John is a well-seasoned and passionate 5 star hotelier experienced in general management, cluster management of multiple properties, pre-openings, renovations as well as asset management.
    He is a New Zealander where he started his career in the restaurant industry opening and operating a number of restaurants before moving to Australia where he had a change of direction into hotels joining the Accor group in the early 90’s managing several properties around the country before transferring up to Thailand as the start of his career throughout Asia. John has managed a number of different Accor brands such as Novotel, Grand Mercure and Sofitel in Indonesia, Singapore and Cambodia before moving to China. During his time in China, he joined IHG opening a Crown Plaza and an InterContinental property in Shenzhen and Chongqing.

    In 2007 John joined the iconic Caravelle Saigon as General Manager then later as General Director for the JV owning company. Under his stewardship, the Caravelle undertook a full renovation of the property and has received numerous industry, environmental, compliance and service awards. John has an excellent understanding of 5 star brand standards and operations including marketing and finance.

    Towards the end of 2021, John left the Caravelle Saigon to start Optimum Hospitality, a hotel asset management and consultancy company. In 2022 John became CEO of Archipelago Indochina, a joint venture between Optimum Hospitality and Archipelago International, Southeast Asia’s largest privately owned hotel management group. This new venture will offer a full suite of hotel brands through management, franchise, soft brand and distribution agreements in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
    John is well versed in project management during pre-openings and renovations. During his 16 years of working and living in Vietnam, being on the board of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Vietnam and being involved in many charity and social events, John has built up an extensive network within the country both in the hospitality industry and the community at large.

    A Vietnamese expert with almost 2 decades in information technology of hospitality, Mr. Loi had been an executive member to open and operate several hotels, Golf Courses in Nha Trang, Cam Ranh, Quang Nam, Danang and held leadership positions since 2012, including Furama Resort Danang, Mongomerie Link Golf Course, Amiana Nha Trang, Riviera Cam Ranh, Melia Da Nang and InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula. 
    With his role, he leaded hotel technology team and achieved a lot of awards such as IHG Guest Internet Think Return Award, Top 5 internet Score of IHG in SEAK from 2017 to 2022 and setup IT for special events as APEC 2017.

    Loi is currently managing the Hotel & Resort Division Digital Transformation Team of Phu Long Company. His team is focusing to help the hotel business leverage data analytics to gain insights into guest behavior, preferences and focus on digital business. By upgrading hotel technology, collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including website analytics, guest feedback, and social media, the hotel can better understand their guests' needs and preferences and tailor their services and marketing accordingly. This can help the hotel business stay ahead of the competition and provide a more personalized and enjoyable guest experience.

    Andrew Langdon joined Accor in 2019 as Senior Vice President Development Asia. In this role Andrew supervises the development functions for all 40 plus Accor hotel brands throughout Asia.

    Previously, Andrew was the Global Chief Development Officer of Movenpick Hotels & Resorts, responsible for the group’s hotel development strategy worldwide. He was directly responsible for the nearly fourfold increase in the hotel development pipeline of Movenpick. In September 2018 Accor completed the acquisition of Movenpick Hotels & Resorts.

    Andrew has a well-established record of accomplishment throughout the Asian region. Over 25 years of diverse property experience, the majority specialising in the hospitality sector, particularly in hotel management, franchise and lease agreements, asset management, capital markets, investment, financing and development.

    Prior to joining Accor and Mövenpick, Andrew was an Executive Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Hotels and Hospitality Group in Asia. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences and universities, and the author of published articles on the hotel and tourism industry.

    Andrew graduated in his native Australia from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Business and he is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and previously a member of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI).

    MArch. Arch. Vu Linh Quang has more than 15 years of experience in design, research and training of Green building consultancy in Vietnam.     Since 2008, Linh Quang has participated in various green building activities to encourage the applications of sustainability in construction and public awareness. With the philosophy that green buildings is the mandatory requirement for sustainable development, he hopes green buildings will be more popular in Vietnam in the near future to transform cities and enriches lives. 

    Currently he holds the Managing Director position at ARDOR Green, one of leading green building consultants in Vietnam. He is also the Board of Directors of Vietnam Green Building Council, Vice President of HCMC Green Architecture Club, Committee member of IBPSA International Building Performance Simulation Association Vietnam, and Committee member of SACA Saigon Association of Construction & Building Materials.

    He was awarded by Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association with the “Young Architect of the Year 2014”, “Top 10 Architects 2017”; as well as conferred “Top 10 Architects Awards” by BCI Asia thrice in 2009, 2015 and 2021.
