    Matt Holmes is the Vice President of Development for South East Asia & Pacific Rim (SEAPR). 
    Based in Gold Coast, Australia, Matt leads a team of developers to drive the development strategy for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts through the expansion of its managed and franchised hotels portfolio across the SEAPR sub-region.  
    Matt brings with him two decades of experience in the tourism sector, out of which 14 years were spent with Wyndham. From 2016 t0 2020 he has served as Wyndham’s Director of Development, Australasia where he played a significant role in driving the company’s regional presence which includes the introduction of the Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Garden brands in Australia as well as the launch of the TRYP by Wyndham brand in New Zealand. Prior to his role with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in Australasia, Matt spent two years with RCI Pacific and six years with RCI Europe based in London where he was responsible for growing the network of RCI and The Registry Collection affiliated resorts across the entire European region.

His interest lies in evidence-based design and its merger with technology, innovation, and passive design strategies to create experientially empowered projects.

    Younes has re-engineered Radisson Hotel Group’s development strategy to focus on an asset-right growth and relevant mature and new business concepts in a fast-changing environment. He has a clear vision on delivering a compelling value proposition to investment stakeholders and is on a mission to have this executed.

    Younes’s cultural background and lifestyle accelerates his stamina and ability to be nimble, anticipate and act fast. A Lebanese national and English citizen, Younes began his career in managerial roles in his home country, before joining HVS in London in 2001. He progressed quickly to the position of Director and a Designate MD with HVS within 5 years. He also authored a number of publications on hotel performance assessments and investments. In 2007, he joined Starwood in London as Senior Director of Acquisitions and Development. His next move took him to Hilton Hotels Worldwide as Vice President Development, based in Dubai, before joining Radisson Hotel Group (formerly The Rezidor Hotel Group) in 2010, as Vice President of Business Development for the Middle East and Africa.

    Younes is fluent in English, French and Arabic. He is educated in Beirut, Paris, New York and London, at universities like Notre Dame, IMHI/Essec, Insead, Cornell University, Johnson Graduate Business School and City University.

    He is a keen sportsman practicing martial arts with a competitive flair and an obsession for continuous improvement and self-development. Elie lives in a partnership and is a devoted father of a daughter and a son.

    Ramzy Fenianos is Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group. He oversees all aspects of the group’s regional development activities, which includes leading the Asia Pacific development team in identifying new opportunities to drive growth and strategic expansion of our hotel portfolio.

    With more than 15 years of experience in the real estate and hospitality sectors, Ramzy has held key positions with several major companies, including Bouygues Real Estate, Dubai Holding Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Minor Hotel Group.

    Ramzy is fluent in three languages, French, English and Arabic, and holds a master’s in real estate finance from Ecole Superieure des Professions Immobiliere (ESPI) and an Advanced Certificate in Real Estate & Hotel Investment from Cornell University.

    He is currently based out of Radisson Hotel Group Asia Pacific’s office in Singapore.

    Javier has over 20 years of Global experience in hotel development and asset management across four Continents; with the privilege of having worked for various international hotel operators before assuming a C-Level role in his family business of Hotel Owners in Indonesia.

    He started as an M&A analyst at one of the world’s largest tourist holdings (TUI) and he made his way through several promotions in other reputable companies such as Barceló, NH Hotels, JLL, and Radisson Hotel Group. Mr. Javier has been mostly focused on managing hotel transactions, asset management, development and strategic advisory.

    At Nilamani Hotels, he is part of the Board and Executive Committee and he is responsible for overlooking and supervising the commercial structure as well as the operations of the existing portfolio of 3 large beachfront resorts in Bali, owned by the family and managed independently. He is also actively engaged in the business development of new opportunities for the Group.

    Rio has more than 35 years of training and experience in the hotel, serviced apartment and tourism industries including two years as a corporate marketing and information systems specialist at the head quarter of Hilton International. Through posts in Jakarta, Nusa Dua (Bali), Colombo (Sri Lanka), New York, Washington D.C., Newark (New Jersey) and Tokyo, Rio has been exposed to management of fine hotels with Hilton International, Hyatt International, Mandarin Oriental, Imperial of Tokyo and Accor. More recently, Rio was responsible as the Director of Operations for the development of the Ascott Jakarta condominium and serviced apartment project. He also served as a director at PT Procon Indah/Jones Lang LaSalle (Jones Lang Wootton then) International Property Consultants in Jakarta. His areas of specialty were Residential Sales and Leasing, and Office Leasing.

    Before joining Accor in May of 2013, for 15 years since 1998, Rio represented Horwath HTL (Horwath Asia Pacific then) in Jakarta where he has focused on the marketing, business development and execution of market and financial feasibility studies, hotel operator search and negotiation, valuations, operational audits, portfolio reviews, strategic hotel asset management planning and hotel due diligence for acquisition in Jakarta, Bali, Yogyakarta and Bandung.

    Since 1998 Rio has been actively involved as Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) starting with the Jakarta Chapter and later since 2002 in the central board of the association, including involvement in the tourism chamber of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) in 2009 and 2010. Rio is one of a handful of certified assessors for hotel’s star classification and has assessed over 50 hotels throughout Indonesia since 2003.

    Rio is an Indonesian national of Japanese descendant and fluent in Indonesian, English and Japanese.

    He was a former Chief Executive of Kingsgate International Corporation Limited, a publicly listed hotel-owning and Management Company in Australia and New Zealand, Director and shareholder of the Mawland Management Group – Australia, Director and Investor in numerous private sectors, including agricultural, property, management, and consulting companies He ia also a major shareholder and managing director of 400-hectare 1,200-cow award-winning dairy unit in North Taranaki, New Zealand.

    He is a fellow member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (FCA, ANZ), the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Institute of Directors, Certified Director of the Institute of Directors and Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in New Zealand.

    Michael Evanoff worked for major law firms in New York and London before joining Hyatt International Corporation in 1984. He served Hyatt International as General Counsel, as Vice President – Development and General Counsel, and as Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

    While at Hyatt International, Mr. Evanoff worked closely with Jay Pritzker, the legendary founder and Chairman of Hyatt, and oversaw the development of approximately 70 Hyatt International hotels worldwide, as well as several casinos and multi-purpose projects.

    Among the investment deals for which Mr. Evanoff was responsible at Hyatt International were the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, the Grand Hyatt Bali, the Park Hyatt Paris, the Park Hyatt Milan, the Grand Hyatt Mumbai, the Grand Hyatt Seoul, the Regency Hotel and Casino (Greece), and the Park Hyatt Zurich.

    Of course, as General Counsel of Hyatt Mr. Evanoff was also responsible for general corporate and commercial matters, compliance, litigation, and intellectual and technology issues

    After serving Hyatt International for 20 years, in 2004 Mr. Evanoff became Chairman of First Oriental Holdings Corporation (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a private equity firm that invests in and develops residential, commercial and hotel properties in Asia. Starting from scratch in 2004, Mr. Evanoff led First Oriental to profits in excess of USD 50,000,000 in 2007 and 2008, a return on investment of more than 200%.

    As First Oriental grew and diversified, in 2009 Mr. Evanoff entered into a partnership with First Oriental’s parent company, the Libra Group, and became Chairman of Marlborough Hospitality Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Marlborough”). In 2011, Mr. Evanoff purchased the Libra Group’s interest in Marlborough, and became the sole owner.

    Marlborough is based in Singapore and provides a range of legal, development and project oversight services for the hospitality and residential housing industries.

    In July of 2022 Mr. Evanoff joined BH2I as Senior Counsel. BH2I is an international law firm with a focus on the hospitality industry, and has offices in Singapore and Bangkok. Mr. Evanoff is now heading up the Singapore office.

    Since leaving Hyatt International, Mr. Evanoff has represented both hotel investors and management companies, and has worked on projects in the U.S., Australia, Greece, Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Maldives, Madagascar, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Japan. He also advises on corporate and commercial law generally, compliance matters, and on franchising and intellectual property and technology issues.

    Mr. Evanoff was educated at Michigan State University, the University of Michigan Law School, and the London School of Economics. He is a member of the New York and U.S. Federal Bars, and is the author of The International Hotel Management Agreement: Origins, Evolution and Its Status Today“, a peer-reviewed paper published by Cornell University (Cornell Hospitality Report, May 2016, www.chr.cornell.edu, Volume 16, Number 11). He has also published several articles on specific aspects of hotel management agreements, and has lectured at the university level on the hotel development process.

    Generally, Mr. Evanoff is regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on the preparation and negotiation of hotel management agreements and related documentation, and on hotel development.

    Bousserind is a life-long hotelier, her story with the industry starts from the ripe age of 18 where she was assisting guests with their luggage under the Clefs d’Or Concierge department in a Parisian hotel as part of her hospitality studies in the city of lights. After graduating from International Hospitality Management, her professional career began in France and it ended up taking her to live and work in The Benelux, The United Arab Emirates as well as Thailand.

    During her entire journey, Bou (As she is nicknamed!) worked as a commercial leader, focusing on driving sales and success to the properties, clusters and regions she was responsible of and having ended up managing key clients from the far corners of the globe and gaining a true big picture approach to the ever more intertwined hospitality industry.

    Since mid-2022, Bou joined Hotstats to lead their business development initiatives in Asia Pacific and handling the wider region from China, down to Australia and everything in-between.     With over 28 years of experience in leading Operations, Development, Sales & Marketing and Customer Care and a proven ability to form & lead large teams managing complex operations, Mr. Ahuja is a Management Graduate from the Department of Management Studies, Chennai and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management.

    Divya is also the founder of the LiveBean’s Hospitality business since 2011, besides being the founding director of LiveBean and in his earlier roles was with hospitality companies like Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, Oberoi’s and Ananda. In his last role with Shangri-La Hotels he was leading hotel operations, prior to which he set up and lead the S&M division for the launch of Shangri-La Jakarta Residences besides managing the 700 keys Shangri-La Hotel, in his erstwhile roles with the group he was also a part of the core team to develop and launch their property in Chang-Mai, Thailand, assist in developing their property in Mumbai, India besides launching their luxury hotel in New Delhi, India.

    Prior to joining Shangri-La Mr. Ahuja had lead a B2B Retail business besides working in consulting with EXL Services Ltd, where he was Asst. Vice President – Marketing & Sales, as part of the senior management team he was responsible for developing aggressive strategies for customer acquisition and support the front-end sales team.

    Mr. Ahuja started his career in 1995 as an Executive-Marketing & Promotion, with Wizcraft and then went on to do his MBA. Post his MBA, he joined the Oberoi Group of Hotels as an Asst. Sales Manager (Northern Region) and was soon promoted to the position of Assistant Marketing Manager (Corporate Marketing & Distribution). Thereafter, as Head - Strategic Planning, Bates India, he led a team of strategic planners and provided inputs on Brand Planning , Research & Communication for existing and new accounts such as Nokia Asia.

    From Bates India at the age of 27 he went on to join Mandarin Oriental Ananda in the Himalayas as Director of Marketing (one of the youngest business leaders in Asia). At Ananda he was responsible for Sales, Reservations, Marketing, PR & promotions, Product Development, Brand Positioning and total revenue generation of the business unit. He was also responsible for opening and operating the Sales & Marketing of 3 international sales office of IHHR (The Parent Company of Ananda). Mr. Ahuja, thereafter, went on to become Director of Marketing, Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa, where he was responsible for total revenue generation besides establishing the unit as a strong brand globally.

    Apart from the regular job, Mr. Ahuja has also been an advisor with the Govt of Kenya, a consulting journalist for various tourism and hotel publications and a guest speaker and panelist on global travel fairs and seminars, besides this he has been a Guest Faculty and trainer at the prestigious Oberoi Centre for learning and other management institutes.

    Mr. Ahuja’s interests include Reading and he is an avid Sportsperson.

After graduating from Imperial College in London, England with a Civil Engineering Master First Class Honours, Dave worked in the city for two years as a Civil and Structural Engineer. Upon developing his expertise in analytical skills, he took on international oil and gas engineering projects in Australia and India.

    Dave returned to Malaysia in 2011 and started-up a couple of businesses, with one of them growing into a multi-million-dollar company. His underlying passion and interest in project management drove him to take on the role of Property Manager with a prominent developer, and was responsible for establishing major industrial warehouses in Seri Kembangan and Semenyih, both in the state of Selangor. Dave’s rise to IQI’s corner office began in 2014 when he joined IQI Holdings as a Real Estate Negotiator.

    A year later, he became a Team Leader and founded Eliteone Team. He eventually grew a team with a modest 5 individuals to 100, resulting in peak performance from all involved. In 2016, Dave was promoted to Team Manager and there was no looking back since as he continued to build his team to a 900-strong army and went on to achieve RM 1 billion in sales. He is now the Group Vice President of IQI Global, continuing his vision to help as many people as possible to achieve their financial and life goals.

    Andrew graduated in his native Australia from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Business and he is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and previously a member of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI).

    Matt transferred to Horwath HTL’s Jakarta office in October 2013 from the Singapore office where he began work in September 2004. Whilst at Horwath HTL, Matt has been involved in many projects including market and financial feasibility studies for hotels, resorts, serviced apartments and golf courses across Asia. Matt has also represented hotel owners in the management company selection process; carried out hotel valuations; and undertaken hotel operations’ reviews. Prior to joining HHTL, Matt worked on and off for over ten years in the hospitality industry gaining experience in various areas of hotel and F&B operations in Australia, Canada and the UK. Matt also worked for five years as a solicitor, in both commercial litigation and industrial relations at Freehills (Perth, Australia) and in-house at London Transport (London, UK).

    Expert in all hotel operation modes (management, franchise, lease) he has a comprehensive understanding of large organizations as well as smaller local operators.

    Xavier opened NOVA Asset Management’s Jakarta office in 2019, as managing director and partner.
    NOVA Asset Management (a Bangkok based Company) provides a full range of hospitality services to hotel owners and investors, i.e., Feasibility Studies, Operator Selection, Branding & Product Positioning, Project Development Management, Owners’ Representation, etc.

Currently serving as the VP of Brand and Development at PHM Hotels, she is responsible for strategic marketing and future development of all PHM Brands & Hotels

    Before setting her foot in PHM Hotels, known before as PHM Hospitality, Marcia ventured a career start as an owner rep for Project Development at Panorama Land. As a result, Marcia has experienced both in the owning company as well as in a lifestyle local hotel chain operator’s point of view. She successfully led the rebranding of PHM Hospitality to PHM Hotels in the beginning of 2020 to gain a fresh position in the lifestyle category. Later on, she developed and elevated THE 1O1 brand positioning to midscale and high. Marcia then launched another brand called 1O1 Urban in mid 2021 to fill the economic midscale category which has been proved to meet the market’s demand.

    She is currently working on a few brand development to expand the PHM Hotels brand to meet the future generation as well as maintaining the current and loyal customer. Now, PHM Hotels as a group operates more than 15 hotels and the number is growing with more hotels in the group’s business development plan.
